Health Benefits of Hibiscus and hibiscus Tea

     Hibiscus plants are small beautiful plant in tropical region that will bring an exotic look to your garden. They also have many medicinal uses. 
Their flowers and leaves liquid extracts can help to treat a variety of ailments.

  • Hibiscus flowers come in many colours but the red colour hibiscus flowers are most commonly cultivated for medicinal purposes.
  • Hibiscus flowers are rich in vitamin 'C' , Antioxidants and minerals. 
  • It is advisable for high blood pressure and high blood sugar level. If you are consuming hibiscus tea, it may help to reduce your high blood pressure and regulate your sugar level.
  • If you have mouth ulcer and stomach ulcer, you intake 5 to 10 hibiscus petals daily. It cures your ulcer problem.

  • If any women have PCOD problem, take 10 hibiscus flowers, remove stalk and pollen and then grind their petals and mix that paste with buttermilk and intake for 40 days. You can get good improvement.
  • Pregnant and mother feeding women should avoid this tea as it affects the estrogen level of the body.
  • Hibiscus tea purifies our blood and increase haemoglobin count.

HOW TO PREPARE HIBISCUS TEA AT HOME:
  • Take a vessel, add one tea-cup of water and add required amount of powdered jaggery or palm jaggery or palm candy as per your wishes....
  • Then add pinch of cardamom powder and add hibiscus petals.
  • Boiling it in low medium flame in 1 or 2 minutes.Then remove from the heat and filter out by using a clean strainer.


  • Now you can serve or intake  the hot and healthy hibiscus tea.
