Mint leaves Thokku

 Mint Thokku Recipe:

Rinse the mint leaves well in water and pat dry on a cloth in the shade for 15 minutes.

Ingredients for Mint Thokku:

  • Mint - 1 pack
  • Chana dal -1 tsp
  • Urad dal -1 tsp
  • Red chilly  - 5 
  • Tamarind - gooseberry size
  • Salt - the required amount
  • Sesame oil

Ingredients for seasoning:
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Mustard - a little
  • Garlic - 10 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Hing - Slightly
Mint Thokku Recipe:
  • Pour oil in a pan and add black gram, chilli powder and tamarind and satue well.
  • After sometimes, add mint leaves and required amount of salt and grind without adding water.
  •  Season with seasoning ingredients.
  • Along with the hot rice, add some ghee and mint thokku is delicious to eat .
